How to start? Sit down and write a letter to a stranger. We tend to open up to strangers. Tell him or her who you are, your background, your hopes and dreams. Tell your stranger how and why you came up with your product, service, or idea. What went right? What went wrong? Be brutally honest, it is an anonymous person you are addressing. What has been the outcome?
Let your letter sit for a day or so. Go back and add to it, being even more revealing about things. Sit on it another day or so. Now you are ready to select the bits that will form the basic of your serial story. You can of course omit anything you wish from the actual story we eventually see, but be sure that your raw story has every apologizing detail, no matter how painful.
